2024/5 - Consultant and Communication Strategist, Salama bint Hamdan Foundation

  • Produced a programming calendar for the UAE pavilion in Expo Osaka 2025, integrating local and international collaborations, logistics, and partner details.

  • Engineered a matrix to evaluate and compare submissions against Expo criteria, from AI technology to Emirati cuisine.

  • Authored training materials and briefing documents for pavilion Ambassadors and key partners, and facilitated translations into Arabic and Japanese.

2024 - Exhibition Operations at Venice Biennale 

  • Managed daily operations, ensuring the exhibition's smooth functioning, including exhibition setup, logistics coordination, and visitor flow management.

  • Engaged fluently with exhibition content, providing detailed explanations of Abdullah Al Saadi's work to visitors and journalists.

  • Implemented and experienced cultural exchange by collaborating with Italian interns from Ca' Foscari University, fostering cross-cultural understanding.

2024 - Researcher at Al Mawrid Arab Center for the Study of Art 

  • Digitized and sorted Maysaloon Faraj’s archival CDs, VHS, mini VHS, Floppy disks, and letters

  • Rehoused and sorted Maysaloon’s letters and documents into archival-grade sleeves and arrangements

  • Interviewed, digitized, and archived materials during multiple studio visits to Hussain Sharif and created a bibliography of works around his legacy

  • Assisted and ushered in the centre’s open house and was the event's photographer, material is to be used in Communications and Social Media

  • Transcribed interviews of Abdullah Al Saadi conducted by the Center and reviewed transcriptions of past symposiums

2023- Arts Proxy Program Facilitator at NYUAD Career Development Center 

  • Managed participant selection, curriculum development, and partner recruitment

  • Conducted research and collaborated with 4 artists and 3 art institutions to organize workshops on

    CV writing, portfolio building, and art residency applications

  • Facilitated weekly sessions attended by 8-15 students and external collaborators

  • Provided personalized guidance to participants on their art projects

  • Curated the final exhibition at NYUAD Arts Center

     

2022- Education and Public Programming Intern/Docent at 421 Arts Campus

  • Initiated collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism for the institute's resources to become a lending library

  • Ushered 10 informative tours in 2 months, educating and engaging visitors as a docent

  • Led the 3 pioneering tactile stations in the ‘On Foraging’ Exhibition:

  • Researched 2 braille translators to aid in creating special needs-inclusive exhibition guides

  • Outsourced 3 production companies to produce the tactile children's guides

  • Commissioned 3 tactile replicas of the artworks displayed for visitors to interact with

2025 - Rhodes Scholarship Finalist

  • Recognized as a 2025 Rhodes Scholarship Finalist for exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and dedication to making a global impact. 

  • Included in the Rhodes Finalist Register and awarded a certificate of acknowledgement by the Warden of Rhodes House, Oxford.

2024 - Founders Day Award

  • As a Commencement honor, top-ranking Baccalaureate candidates and graduates are named University Honors Scholars, earning them the NYU Founders' Day Award. Recipients receive a gold tassel that they can wear during Commencement, as well as a personalized certificate.

2024 - Spectrum Photographer in Residence 

  • Participated in weekly workshops on photography, curation, documentation, and writing in a 16-week residency.

  • Collaborated with residents, mentors, and the production team for the end-of-residency showcase called 'In Context' curated by Nasser Abdullah.

  • Directed, produced, and shot the short film 'Mhayer', featuring Daniel Nivia's music, Nabeeha Sajjad's colour work, and Mhayer Al Qaydi's acting.

 

2023 - Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award 

  • Awarded by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Maktoum for ‘Distinguished Academic Performance’ in the creative field and outstanding educational experiences.

  • Received a trophy, medal, and a monetary prize of 40,000 aed


2022 - Christo and Jeanne Claude Award Winner 

  • Recognized for designing Urban Fabric in the spirit of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s work that can be publicly exhibited and enjoyed in collaboration with Jason Cruz and Jennifer Tsai

  • Displayed in Manarat Al Saadiyat during the Abu Dhabi Art Fair, Um Al Emarat Park, and is permanently in the Rabdan Marina Project.


2021 - First Place, Abu Dhabi Art Pavilion Prize Winner

  • Recognized for developing Impermanence as a temporary pavilion realized at the Abu Dhabi Art Fair in collaboration with Jason Cruz and Jennifer Tsai.

  • Installation remained during the week of the art fair at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
